The foundation for the police station being built in Th. Omadhoo has been laid.

The practical work for the Omadhoo Police Center commenced during a ceremony held today in Omadhoo, as part of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's ongoing tour of Th. Atoll.

At the ceremony, Home Minister Ali Ihsan laid the foundation for the police center in Omadhoo.

The government's aim for maintaining public safety and security is to establish police stations in every inhabited island that currently lacks one by the end of 2026.
