President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has expressed his heartfelt condolences following the passing of the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and President of the Senior Scholars Council, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh.

In a message posted on his official X account, the President prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the late Sheikh eternal peace in Jannah and offered his sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.

He also extended his condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

President Muizzu said the Islamic Ummah has lost a respected scholar and trusted advisor who devoted his life to upholding and spreading the message of Islam.
