President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that the actual work of building 50 housing units in M. Mulah will begin this year.

During his current trip to M. Atoll, President Muizzu visited Mulah tonight and held a meeting where he revealed the government's development plans for Mulah and provided updates on the projects being carried out on the island.

He provided details on projects including the harbor, coastal protection, powerhouse work, school upgrading, and road construction.

The President said that the biggest issue facing Mulah, as well as all densely populated islands in the Maldives, is the housing problem.

"God willing, we will start the actual work of building 50 housing units on this island within this year. That's not the end, it's just the beginning," the President said.

The President further stated that Mulah's development is important to the government and that the government will work to bring the development that people want for the benefit of the citizens.
