MTCC has been awarded the construction work of the new health center building to be built in V. Keyodhoo.

The contract for the construction of the new Keyodhoo Health Center building was awarded to MTCC in a special ceremony held this morning in Keyodhoo during President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's currentzu's current trip to V. Atoll.

Ahmed Saudee, Managing Director of MTCC, signed the agreement on behalf of MTCC. Minister Abdullah Nazim Ibrahim signed on behalf of the Ministry of Health.

The new Keyodhoo Health Center is being built on an area of 17,180 square feet. MTCC was awarded the project for a total of MVR 29.89 million, to be completed and handed over within 720 days.

"With the completion of the new building for the Keyodhoo Health Center, which serves a population of 917 people, the quality of health services provided from this island will improve, bringing significant benefits to the entire island's population. This will provide additional convenience for those seeking services at the health center," MTCC said.

Works planned under this project include:

  • Excavation, masonry, and concrete works
  • Tiling and installation of doors and windows
  • Painting and metal works
  • Hydraulics and drainage works
  • Electrical wiring and installation of medical gas system
  • Air conditioning works and installation of fire extinguishing system
