A young local man has been found dead at a guesthouse on Orchid Magu in Male’ City.

Media Official of the Maldives Police Service said that a report of a motionless man with foaming at the mouth was reported at 12:18 p.m. today and the police took the man to India Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Police said that the deceased is a 22-year-old local man.

Images of the police transferring the body show that the body was covered entirely with a white cloth.

Sources have told One Online that the man was dead on arrival at the hospital and had no signs of external injuries.
