President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has begun an eight-day visit to the inhabited islands of Vaavu, Meemu, Faafu and Thaa Atolls.

According to the President’s Office, the President will visit all 31 inhabited islands in these four atolls. During the trip, he will meet with Island Councils and Women’s Development Committees, as well as engage with residents to hear their concerns and learn about their well-being.

The visit is part of a series of trips the President plans to undertake to all atolls of the Maldives, during which he will also meet with city councils.
