A fire incident has occurred at Barceló Nasandhura, an upscale hotel located in Henveiru.

The MNDF (Maldives National Defence Force) said today that the fire incident occurred in a pile of garbage collected on the eastern side of Barceló.

No one was injured in the incident, according to the MNDF.

According to available information, the fire was extinguished before the MNDF Fire and Rescue Services arrived at the scene of the incident.
