President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Uz Mohamed Mujthaz as the President of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and Mohamed Nasih as Vice President of the commission.

The appointments were made in line with Article 17(b) of the Maldivian Civil Service Act.

Parliament approved Uz Mujthaz as President of the CSC and Nasih as Vice President following a review by the Committee on Independent Institutions. The appointments were confirmed after a letter was sent by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu to the People’s Majlis for consideration.
