SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) has appointed Fathimath Farihath Waheed as the Operations Director.

SDFC said today that Fathimath Farihath is experienced in financial services, strategic change management, and managing important partnerships.

SDFC's Managing Director Badruddin Hassan said that with Fathimath Farihath's experience, she will play a very important role in further strengthening SDFC's operations and increasing the assistance provided to the SME sector.

Before being appointed as the Operations Director of SDFC, Fathimath Farihath held the position of Head of Card Networks and Strategic Partnerships at Bank of Maldives (BML).

She has completed a Master of International Business from Monash University Malaysia.
