Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for this year's internship program.

BML said today that the program is a 12-month program aimed at students and graduates from higher education institutions in the Maldives.

BML said the program has so far provided opportunities for graduates from various fields.

This year, they have also opened "Tech Start" internships specifically for students and graduates in the IT field, BML said.

Internship opportunities:

  • Graduate Internship: 15 participants will have the opportunity to work in various divisions of the bank
  • Tech Start Internship: 10 participants will have the opportunity to work in the bank's Technology Division

BML said that through this program, students and graduates will also have the opportunity to work in various business units, departments, and branches of the bank to enhance their experience and skills during the internship period.

BML said that this year's graduate interns' monthly allowance has been increased to MVR 9,000, while Tech Start interns will receive a monthly allowance of MVR 11,000.

They also said that since 2018 also said that since 2018, the bank has provided internship opportunities to 77 interns, some of whom have also received permanent job opportunities at the bank.

BML said that those interested in participating in the internship program can apply online before the 30th of this month.
