Speaker of the People's Majlis, Abdul Raheem Abdullah, has requested members to attend Majlis sessions in formal attire during official working hours.

Before opening the floor for members to speak at today's Majlis session, the Speaker said that Majlis sessions are conducted during official working hours.

Therefore, he noted that members should attend the Majlis in formal attire, specifying that formal attire includes a tie.

The Speaker said he had to make this request because some members attended today's session not in formal attire.

The Speaker stated that maintaining the dignity, respect, and honor of the Majlis is obligatory for all members. He therefore requested all members to attend formally.

He added that this has been the practice in the Majlis so far.
