Mohamed Mujthaz of M. Sigma has been nominated to the People's Majlis for appointment as the President of the Civil Service Commission (CSC), and the Commission's member Mohamed Nasih has been sent for appointment as the Vice President.

Additionally, Mohamed Shafeeq of M. Poppy, a member of the Human Rights Commission (HRCM), has been nominated for appointment as the Deputy President of HRCM.

The letter sent by President Mohamed Muizzu to the People's Majlis for their appointment was read at today's Majlis session, after which the matter was sent to the relevant committees for review.

The matter of appointing the President and Deputy President to the CSC has been sent to the Independent Institutions Committee. The matter of appointing a Deputy President to the HRCM has been sent to the Human Rights and Gender Committee of the Majlis for review.

After the committees review these matters and send them back to the Majlis floor, a vote will be held regarding giving parliamentary approval to these individuals.
