62,027 tourists have arrived in the Maldives during the first 13 days of this month.

According to the Maldives Tourism Updates published by the Ministry of Tourism last Thursday, this represents an 18.7 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

The statistics show that a total of 1.5 million tourists have visited the Maldives so far this year. This is a 9.7 percent increase compared to the 1.4 million tourists who visited during the same period last year.
