The national airline, Maldivian, has arranged special flights to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Bangkok, Thailand, coinciding with the upcoming school holidays in December.

Maldivian said today that Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok are notable international destinations for Maldivian travelers, and they will operate a total of four flights to each destination during the school holiday season.

Maldivian stated that return tickets will be available for US$ 355 to Kuala Lumpur (MLE-KUL-MLE) and US$ 399 to Bangkok (MLE-BKK-MLE).

Maldivian said flights to Kuala Lumpur will operate every Sunday from December 21 to January 11, while flights to Bangkok will run from December 23 to January 13. Passengers on these fares will receive a 25kg baggage allowance, Maldivian added.

Maldivian said tickets for these flights can be easily booked through Maldivian's official website, Maldivian mobile app, authorized Passenger Sales Agents (PSAs), by emailing [email protected], or by calling the 24-hour call center at 1671.

Maldivian's hope is to provide travelers with an easy and enjoyable travel experience during the school holidays, the airline said.
