The foundation for the Fitness and Recreation Center being built by Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) in HDh. Naivadhoo has been laid.

The foundation was laid in a ceremony held today by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu during his ongoing trip to HDh. Atoll.

The foundation of the Naivadhoo Fitness Center was laid by Sports Minister Abdullah Rafiu, MACL CEO and Managing Director Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, and Naivadhoo Council President Ali Rasheed Mohamed.

The Fitness and Recreation Center in Naivadhoo is one of the centers included in the agreement signed between the Ministry of Sports, Fitness and Recreation and MACL on the 18th of this month to build Fitness and Recreation Centers in 63 islands across the Maldives.

Establishing Fitness and Recreation Centers on all inhabited islands of the Maldives by 2026 is a presidential pledge made by President Dr. Muizzu.
