The foundation for the Fitness and Recreation Center being built by Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) in HDh. Finey has been laid.

The foundation was laid during President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's visit to Finey yesterday as part of his ongoing trip to HDh. Atoll.

The foundation of the Finey Fitness and Recreation Center was laid by Sports Minister Abdullah Rafiu, MACL CEO and Managing Director Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, and Finey Council President Adnan Abdullah.

The Fitness and Recreation Center in HDh. Finey is one of the centers included in the agreement signed between the Sports Ministry and MACL on the 18th of this month to build Fitness and Recreation Centers in 63 islands across the Maldives.

Establishing Fitness and Recreation Centers on all inhabited islands of the Maldives by 2026 is a presidential pledge made by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
