Dhiraagu has renewed its Partners for Humanity Initiative with the Maldivian Red Crescent (MRC) for 2025–2026, reaffirming its commitment to supporting humanitarian efforts across the country.
With the renewed partnership, Dhiraagu said it remains determined to assist the Red Crescent in providing vital services to vulnerable communities, both during disasters and in everyday situations. These services include first aid, emotional and social support, and disaster relief activities.
The company noted that the partnership will help expand the reach of the Red Crescent’s humanitarian work and strengthen its ability to deliver services to different parts of the Maldives.
Bishara Hameed, Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at Dhiraagu, expressed the company’s appreciation for the Red Crescent’s work. “Dhiraagu is delighted to support the valuable and important work that the Red Crescent is doing for the country. On behalf of Dhiraagu, I would like to express my gratitude to the Red Crescent for their efforts,” she said.
Over the past years, Dhiraagu has contributed to the expansion of Red Crescent services. The company said this assistance not only supports the most vulnerable during emergencies but also strengthens its long-standing partnership with the organisation.
