Bank of Maldives (BML) has launched ATM services in all islands of B. Atoll.
During President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's ongoing trip to B. Atoll, ATM services have been introduced in nine islands. These include B. Goidhoo, Fehendhoo, Fulhadhoo, Hithaadhoo, Dhonfanu, Maalhos, as well as Kamadhoo, Kudarikilu, and Kendhoo.
With the ATM opened in Maalhos today, ATM services are now available on all islands of B. Atoll.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu inaugurated the ATM service in Maalhos at a ceremony held today. The President presented a commemorative bank card to the island council after launching the service.
At the ceremony, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef said that ATM services have been established on all islands of B. Atoll under the special guidance of the President. He added that this is an achievement under the special project initiated by the company to launch ATM services on all islands of the Maldives.
Shareef stated that under this project, ATM services have been launched on 47 islands this year, and ATM services have been established on all islands of seven atolls. These are Dh, Ha, N, M, Sh, K, and B atolls. He also mentioned that they are prepared to launch ATM services on 23 islands in five more atolls.
Shareef added that their goal is to successfully complete this project by establishing ATMs on 33 islands in seven atolls within the next two to three months.
