An additional 269 Khateebs have obtained their certification.

The certificates were presented to the graduates by Islamic Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed at a special ceremony held last night at the Islamic Center.

At this ceremony, 269 young Khateebs completed the third round of the Young Khateeb Training Program and received their certification. This brings the total number of certified Khateebs to 503 so far.

The Islamic Ministry aims to train 1000 young Khateebs within five years.

At last night's ceremony, the Minister said that this program is a vision of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, and it is being carried out under the vision of developing people and advancing them intellectually, which the President highlighted in his first speech.

In his speech, Shaheem gave many valuable pieces of advice to the young Khateebs.

"The young people who participated in this program have chosen a very noble path. The position of Khateeb is a very high and honorable position. Young Khateebs are setting a very good example for society. I advise you to work on further developing your skills in this field," Shaheem said.
