The foundation stone for the new building of Kudarikilu Health Centre has been laid.
The ceremony, held as part of the President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s ongoing visit to Baa Atoll, was also attended by Health Minister Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim, who joined in laying the foundation stone. Managing Director of Fenaka Corporation, Mohamed Najah, and members of the Kudarikilu Island Council were present at the event.
Fenaka Corporation has been entrusted with constructing the new facility, with the project awarded at a cost of MVR 7,641,116.64. The building is scheduled for completion within a year.
The new health centre building is expected to significantly enhance the quality and accessibility of medical services for the people of Kudarikilu and surrounding islands.
