A man has been arrested in connection with the vandalism of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) office door.

Police said the incident was reported at around 0130hrs on Friday. The suspect, identified as 49-year-old Mohammad Razeen, was taken into custody shortly after.

Authorities have confirmed that an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
