President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has returned to Malé this morning following the conclusion of his official visit to 13 inhabited islands in Noonu Atoll.
The President's tour included stops at Henbadhoo, Hulhudhoo, Lhohi, Kudafari, Kendhikulhudhoo, Velidhoo, Manadhoo, Magoodhoo, Maalhendhoo, Maafaru, Miladhoo, Foddhoo, and Landhoo. During the visit, he met with local council members and Women’s Development Committees to discuss each island’s most pressing development needs and priorities.
As part of his engagements, the President inaugurated several fitness and recreation centres and initiated key infrastructure projects, including land reclamation efforts and the establishment of a police post. He also launched initiatives aimed at enhancing educational facilities and improving health services in the atoll.
President Dr Muizzu was accompanied by members of his Cabinet, senior officials from government institutions, and representatives from the private sector.
