Raajje Transport Link (RTL) bus service has officially commenced in Kendhikulhudhoo.

The service, operated by the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), was inaugurated by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu during his visit to Kendhikulhudhoo this evening. Two buses will be deployed on the island to facilitate the service.

The RTL bus service is already operational in several locations, including Addu City, Fuvahmulah City, Kulhudhuffushi City, Haa Alif Dhidhdhoo, L. Gan, L. Fonadhoo, and L. Isdhoo/Kalaidhoo. As part of the initiative, school students are provided free travel on RTL buses.

The introduction of the service in Kendhikulhudhoo is expected to significantly improve local transport accessibility and convenience for residents.
