President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has ordered to increase the number of beds at Maafaru Health Center to 15 and re-sign the agreement.

An agreement for further development of Maafaru Health Center was signed last night. The Health Ministry has assigned this project to Fenaka Corporation.

During his current visit to N. Atoll, President Muizzu met with the residents of Maafaru today and discussed the project. He said that he has been informed today about additional improvements needed for upgrading the Maafaru Health Center.

"I have instructed that before the end of this week, the agreement should be modified to include the scope that the people want, including at least 15 additional beds, and to re-sign the agreement for a high-quality health center," the President said.

The President stated that the agreement was signed in its current form due to a mistake in information, and it will be corrected before Thursday. He also mentioned that he has already informed the relevant ministers about this.
