Male' City Council has launched a competition for youth where they can win MVR 12,000 by creating a video.

The City Council stated yesterday that this competition, launched in connection with World Youth Skills Day, is organized by Male' City Council with the aim of enhancing youth skills and empowering young people.

The competition, targeted at youth between 18 and 35 years old, has set the deadline for video submissions as the 30th of this month.

This competition, under the slogan "Building a Clean and Safe Society Together," requires participants to create a video between one and two minutes long and post it on Instagram or TikTok.

The first-place winner will receive MVR 12,000, the second-place winner will get MVR 8,000, and the third-place winner will receive MVR 6,000. Additional prizes and certificates will also be awarded. The City Council stated that the winners will be determined based on the number of shares their videos receive.The videos submitted to this competition, which offers cash prizes and other rewards, will be used on various social media platforms of Male' City Council to raise public awareness. The Council's post also mentioned that when sharing the videos on social media, participants must use the hashtag specified by Male' City Council.
