Three people have been seriously injured in a road accident in Malé City on Sunday night.

According to police, the incident occurred near the Maafannu Bus Terminal when a speeding motorcycle struck a pedestrian. The collision resulted in injuries to three individuals, all of whom were taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment. Their condition is reported to be critical.

Following the accident, police cordoned off most of the area to manage traffic. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
