K. Kaashidhoo Council has announced the allocation of over 400 residential land plots, offering an opportunity not only to current residents but also to individuals interested in relocating to the island. The notification, issued on July 9, outlines that a total of 410 plots will be distributed under two distinct categories.

Category A is designated for residents of Kaashidhoo, individuals married to residents, those who have migrated to the island for reasons other than marriage, and those who have transferred their citizenship and wish to move to Kaashidhoo. Under this category, 400 plots will be allocated. Category B reserves 10 plots specifically for persons with disabilities. Each plot measures 2,000 square feet.

Applicants are required to submit a completed "application form for the bhandara land allotted for a living" along with all necessary supporting documents to the Kaashidhoo Council office by 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025. The council will issue and accept applications between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on all non-official holidays starting from July 15.
