A person has been found brutally murdered in Alif Alif Maalhos.

The deceased is Abdurrahman Adam (65 years old) from Odmaage, Maalhos.

The police said today that they received information late last night that the person was being taken to the health center for treatment.

The police stated that an investigative team from Male' has been dispatched to the island to investigate the death.
