The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced that the new building for the Criminal Court and Drug Court in Hulhumalé will be completed by the end of this month.

In a post on X, HDC stated that final preparations are underway to open the facility, which aims to alleviate space constraints until the construction of the Superior Court Complex is completed.

Six sections of the Criminal Court have already been relocated to the new building, previously used by the Hulhumalé Division of the Civil Court.
