The President’s Office has announced that it is now accepting applications for membership in the Civil Service Commission (CSC), following the expiry of the terms of three current members.
The application period is open from today until 12:00 p.m. on May 20, 2018. Applications will be accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on all working days, excluding official holidays.
Interested candidates can download the application form from the official website of the President’s Office.
The three members whose terms are ending are Mohamed Nasih (President of the CSC), Mohamed Farshath, and Fathimath Shareef. They were originally appointed to the Commission on 3 September 2020.
In addition, Ibrahim Rasheed, who was appointed at the same time, resigned recently amid a parliamentary process to remove him due to a series of allegations. He had been serving as Vice President of the Commission.
Following his resignation, Mohamed Mujthaz, a former Member of Parliament for Hanimaadhoo constituency, was appointed to the CSC on 20 April. He has since taken over the role of Vice President.
