Housing Ministry has announced that it will cancel previous registrations and agreements made under the former government’s Binveriya scheme and begin issuing new registrations and agreements in line with changes to the land use plan.
Due to the revised layout, plot locations have shifted, prompting the need for new documentation. The Ministry has called on those listed in the notification issued on June 2 to apply for appointments via the Hiyaavahi Portal starting Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
A limited number of applicants will be accepted per hour, with new agreements and registrations to be issued beginning July 7 from 9:30 am.
Applicants must upload key documents, including ID cards, previous agreements, and, if applicable, notarised powers of attorney. Original documents must also be presented at the appointment.
Those who miss their appointment or fail to submit complete documents risk cancellation but may reapply for a new slot. Notifications will be sent via the Hiyaavahi Portal and SMS.
