President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has inaugurated the construction work of the Regional Hospital being developed in M. Muli.

The President inaugurated the construction work of the Regional Hospital at a special ceremony held during his trip to the island today to open the Muli Airport.

The construction work of the Regional Hospital was initiated by Ahmed Saudi, CEO of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

The hospital project was awarded to MTCC on April 20th of last year. MTCC was awarded the project for 185 million rufiyaa.

It is a 50-bed hospital.
