The draw for Vaguthu Bodube Challenge 2025, the most expensive futsal tournament in Fuvahmulah City, was held last night.

With a total of 10 teams participating in the tournament, it will feature futsal stars from across the Maldives. Last night's draw event was attended by members of the organizing team, team officials, and managers.

The ten teams have been divided into two groups for the group stage, followed by quarter-final matches. After the quarters, semi-finals will be played, leading to the final.

Group A of the Bodube Futsal Challenge 2025 includes United Dhiguvaando, United Dhiguvaando Legends, Dhadimagu Sports and Recreation Club, Dhoondigalona SC, and Dhadimagu Sports and Recreation Club United.

Group B includes Dhoondigalona Junior, Hoadhadu Sports Club, Dhadimagu Sports and Recreation Club Juniors, Ayyani SC, and United Dhiguvaando Strikers.

The Bodube Challenge, set to begin on the 25th of this month, is expected to bring a revolution to Fuvahmulah's futsal scene. This is the biggest futsal festival to come to Fuvahmulah so far.

A theme song has also been released for the tournament, showcasing the involvement of the entire Fuvahmulah community.

The champion team of the Bodube Challenge will receive a cash prize of MVR 100,000, while the runner-up team will receive MVR 25,000. This is the largest and most valuable futsal tournament held in Fuvahmulah City to date.

The organizers said that teams are already preparing intensively for the tournament, and many futsal stars from across the Maldives will definitely be seen in the tournament.
