President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has said that mothers are the real heroes behind the progress and success the world is seeing.

He said this in a post on X on the occasion of World Mother's Day celebrated today.

The President said that Mother's Day reminds us of the most precious sacrifice and maternal love. He also said that he sends greetings for this happy day to mothers with good wishes.

World Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May every year. However, the day of celebration differs in some countries. For instance, many Arab countries celebrate it on March 21. In Thailand, it is celebrated on August 12.
