A person has been stabbed and injured in Male'.

In a message sent to the media tonight, police said that a case was reported at around 8:35 PM of a 40-year-old Maldivian man being stabbed and injured near Chandelier on Sabudheli Magu.

Police said the injured person has a drug record. However, they did not reveal details of his injuries or whether anyone has been arrested in the case.

Police said they are investigating the necessary aspects related to the case.
