Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has decided to hold a festival to mark 21 years since Hulhumale' was populated.

HDC will hold the festival named "My Hulhumale' Festival" with exciting activities for a week starting from the tenth of next month.

HDC said the festival, which will be held in different areas of Hulhumale' on different days, will include special activities for people of all age groups.

Some activities for the anniversary:

  • Photography competition
  • Family carnival
  • Hulhumale' Discount Week
  • Health camp
  • Hulhumale' Story Photo Walk
  • Fishing race
  • Cycling championship
  • Beach fest

Hulhumale' was officially populated on May 12, 2004.
