A route march has been arranged to be held in Male' today to mark the 133rd anniversary of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF).

MNDF Media Group said yesterday that the march will be graced by President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

The march is set to proceed with the military contingent stopping at a total of five locations.

MNDF said the route march, scheduled to begin at 16:15 today from Bandaara Koshi, will have the military contingent stopping at the President's Office front, Ameer Ahmed Magu, Sosun Magu in front of the Dhivehi Bahuge Academy, the junction of Majeedhee Magu and Chaandhanee Magu, in front of Million Bookshop on Majeedhee Magu, and the northwest corner of Boduthakurufaanu Magu at Kalhuthukkalaa Koshi.

The military band will perform at each stop of the military contingent. MNDF also said that the march will showcase various sectors and services of the Maldivian military.
