Work has begun today to construct a police station in ADh. Maamigili with the free aid of Villa Chairman and People's Majlis member for Maamigili constituency, Qasim Ibrahim.

The police said that an agreement was signed between the police and Villa Foundation to build the police station in Maamigili, and a ceremony was held today to lay the foundation of the station.

At the ceremony held in Maamigili, Police Commissioner Ali Shujau signed the agreement on behalf of the police and laid the foundation of the police station. Qasim signed the agreement on behalf of Villa Foundation.

The police said that the station will include an office building, police accommodation, and a mess room, and it is scheduled to be completed and handed over to the police within one year.
