President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that he will be able to visit all islands in the Maldives by August, in line with his campaign promise.

Visiting all islands in the Maldives to meet with the people was a promise he made during the presidential election campaign.

Speaking on the "Rayyithunaa Eku" podcast program today, the President said that as he had promised to visit the homes of Male' citizens during the mayoral election earlier, he fulfilled that promise while in the position of mayor. Similarly, he said he will fulfill the promise he made to the people before coming to power.

The President said that he had started his trips to the islands but paused them for Ramadan, and he will resume these trips next May.

"I have already visited many islands. Although I planned to start the trip this month, the trips haven't started yet due to various reasons. God willing, I will start the trips as soon as May begins," the President said.

He said the next trip will start from M. Muli, and during that trip, he will inaugurate the airport on that island.
