The Education Ministry has assigned MTCC to further develop the buildings of 15 schools in the Maldives.

The Education Ministry said the purpose of this work is to strengthen the learning environment for students in different parts of the country.

On behalf of MTCC, the projects were signed by Managing Director Retired DCP Ahmed Saudhee. And on behalf of the Education Ministry, Minister Dr. Ismail Shafiu signed.

As part of this initiative, MTCC will:

  • Build a classroom and multipurpose hall at Sh. Bilehfahi, Aa. Mathiveri, Gdh. Vaadhoo, and K. Gulhi
  • Build classrooms at Ha. Molhadhoo, Hdh. Neykuredhoo, R. Dhuvaafaru, B. Kudarikilu, Th. Gaadhifushi, Ha. Maarandhoo, and L. Maavah.
  • Build multipurpose halls at Hdh. Nolhivaram, R. Innamaadhoo, Th. Madifushi, and Hdh. Naivaadhoo.

These projects are a step forward in ensuring equitable access to quality education and resources for students in all corners of the country.
