Bullets have bveen found from a person departing from Velana International Airport (VIA).

Police have said that bullets were found from a person who was departing from the country at a time last night. They said it was a person who had come to the Maldives on a tourist visa.

"Regarding this case, when the person taken into police custody was presented to court to decide on detention, the court has ordered six days of detention," the police said.

The police are continuing to investigate this case.
