Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has today appealed to passengers to arrive early at Velana International Airport (VIA) due to expected congestion tomorrow afternoon.
In a statement released by MACL, it was said that people will be returning from Umrah tomorrow afternoon, and therefore, they request departing passengers to complete their check-in and security clearance as early as possible.
According to MACL, flights carrying Umrah returnees will land at VIA between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM tomorrow.
MACL has also appealed to taxi drivers to operate in a way that minimizes congestion, considering the traffic flow.
