A fire broke out in a house in AA. Rasdhoo late last night, leaving a couple with severe injuries.

According to the police, they received a call regarding the incident at 2315hrs. Emergency responders rushed to the scene and found two residents of the house injured. The couple was immediately transported to Malé City for urgent medical treatment.

Authorities reported that the woman suffered severe burns, with 90 percent of her body affected, while the man also sustained significant injuries. The extent of the damage to the house and the cause of the fire are still under investigation.
