Two people sustained injuries following a motorcycle collision near the landing area of Sinamale’ Bridge in Malé City.

According to the police, the accident, which involved two motorcycles falling off the bridge, was reported at 1021hrs. The injured motorists were immediately taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment. Their condition has been confirmed as stable and not life-threatening.

Both riders held valid licences for their respective motorcycle categories, the police stated. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
