State Electric Company (STELCO) has selected employees who will be granted the opportunity to perform Hajj and Umrah this year. The selection was announced during a ceremony held on Tuesday night.

According to STELCO, 84 out of 102 applicants met the eligibility criteria for Hajj, while 215 out of 218 applicants qualified for Umrah. The company previously allowed only one male and female employee for Hajj and Umrah but revised the policy last year to include two male and one female employee.

STELCO grants Hajj opportunities to employees with over 15 years of service, while those who have served for at least five years are eligible for Umrah.
