A search has begun for a person missing in Male'.

Police said today that Abdullah Shihad, 37, of Reehussaba, N. Manadhoo, has been reported missing since 16:51 on Saturday, with no contact with his family. The report was made at around 20:05 yesterday, and efforts to find him are underway.

Police further said that Shihad lives in Male' and that his family has informed the police that his phone is also unreachable.

Police have requested that if anyone has any information about Shihad, they should share it by calling the police hotline number 3322111 or the Galolhu Police Station number 9631696.
