A man in possession of drugs has been arrested in Kaafu Maafushi.

Maldives Police Service said that the arrest was made during a special operation conducted by the Maafushi Police Station yesterday.

Police said that the suspect was arrested with a packed and six cellophane pieces of suspected drugs.

Maafushi Police Station is investigating further.
