It has been discovered that Ahmed Usaid Ibrahim Afeef, who was reported missing in Malaysia, is in the custody of Malaysian police.

According to information received by "One", Usaid, the Maldivian who was being searched for in Malaysia, is under the custody of the country's police. However, it is not known for what reason Usaid was detained.

In a message sent to the media last Monday, the Foreign Ministry said that a report of a Maldivian missing in Malaysia had been received by the Ministry through the Maldives High Commission in that country.

Usaid's father, Ibrahim Afeef, said in a Facebook post yesterday that there had been no news of Usaid since he left Sunway Geo at 15:15 last Sunday. Therefore, he reported it to the Malaysian police and the Maldives High Commission in that country at 22:00 that day, Ibrahim Afeef said.

Afeef said that cameras show Usaid wearing a red T-shirt.
