STO has opened a wholesale center in Hulhumale' as well.

STO said that all items specially brought for Ramadan will be sold wholesale from the STO Hotel area in Hulhumale'. They said onions, potatoes, and eggs will be sold from there.

In addition to the STO Hotel site, these items will also be available from the Male' Industrial Village and the wholesale center in Male'.

Prices of some essential items sold by STO:

- Onions: MVR 335 per sack, MVR 14 per kilo individually (MVR 325 per sack if buying more than five sacks)

- Eggs: MVR 350 per case, MVR 2 each individually

- Potatoes: MVR 515 per sack, MVR 25 per kilo (MVR 505 per sack if buying more than five sacks)

- Dried fish: MVR 40 rufiyaa per kilo

For this year's Ramadan, 24 special items will be brought to the market and sold at controlled prices. These include essential food items, vegetables and fruits, processed foods, and some cooking ingredients.
