President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has today inaugurated the extension building of Dh. Maaenboodhoo Health Center.

During his current trip to Dhaalu Atoll, the President visited Maaenboodhoo today and met with the island council and the Women's Development Committee.

Afterwards, the President inaugurated the extension building of Maaenboodhoo Health Center.

With the new building of Maaenboodhoo Health Center, five new services have been introduced. These services include general health services, treatment for tobacco users, a special clinic for non-communicable diseases, a special clinic for pregnant women, and a special clinic for pediatric care.

The Health Ministry awarded the contract for the construction of the extension building, laboratory, and portico of Maaenboodhoo Health Center to DNF Engineering Private Limited on April 12, 2023.

The Health Ministry contracted DNF Engineering to complete the work within five months for MVR 4.7 million.
